In a unique way to show compassionate care for humanity, students of Academic City University College Rotaract Club have made valuable donations of large quantities of food and assorted items to the Potters Village Home at Dodowa, Eastern Region.
The items donated included bags of rice, gallons of cooking oils, cartoons of milk, bags of sugar, bags of sachet water, toiletries, used and unused cloth materials and shoes, stationery, and buckets of paint.

The Associate Dean of Engineering at Academic City University College, Ing. Dr. Lucy Agyepong has been appointed as a member of the prestigious African Asian Pacific Engineering Council. She becomes the first Ghanaian engineer and the only female on the Council.
In her new role, Ing. Dr. Agyepong is expected to work with the other members to drive the African Asian Pacific Accord signed between the Federation of Engineering Institutions of Asia and the Pacific and Federation of African Engineering Organisations on 20th July 2020.

As part of efforts to promote and deepen the understanding of the African culture among the youth, Academic City University College organized a program dubbed “The Diversity Day”.
This year’s event was a student-led initiative themed ‘Breaking the Stereotype’. The one-day event aimed to celebrate and appreciate the different African cultures and backgrounds in a form of language, food, history, dressing, music, dance, and literature among others.

Academic City University College and Worcester Polytechnic Institute, USA (WPI), a renowned research university have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for academic collaboration to implement an accelerated master’s degree and exchange program. This is tailored towards enhancing the academic, professional and cultural needs of students.
